A Program That Follows Your Child's Lead
Your child's ideas and interests shape the week. Our Emergent Curriculum means the program evolves with the group — when kids are invested in what they're doing, summer feels like an adventure, not a schedule.
Variety That Keeps Every Day Fresh
Unlike single-focus camps, our summer covers it all: sports, arts, science, outdoor adventures, and creative play. Your child doesn't have to choose between being an athlete, an artist, or an explorer — they get to be all of them.
Space to Move, Play, and Create
Our licensed event space and dedicated indoor and outdoor play areas mean bigger games, more movement-based activities, and group experiences that actually feel like summer camp should.
Qualified, Caring Staff
Our team includes Early Childhood Educators who know how to create an environment where children feel safe, included, and genuinely excited to participate. Your child is in experienced, caring hands.
Fully Air-Conditioned
Your child stays cool and comfortable all summer long. Our entire facility is fully air-conditioned — so whether it's a heat wave or a humid afternoon, the fun never has to stop.

Adventure, Variety, and a Summer Worth Remembering
Ages 4–10Your child gets to be an athlete, an artist, a scientist, and an explorer — all in one summer. Our program is packed with themed weeks that keep things fresh and exciting, from high-energy outdoor challenges to creative performances and hands-on experiments.
Activities are designed to adapt to different ages and developmental levels, with a mix of indoor and outdoor programming, weekly field trips, team games, and creative projects. Whether your child is 4 or 10, they'll be engaged in experiences that match their abilities and interests.
Our themed weeks are built around group challenges, shared adventures, and collaborative activities — giving children the chance to build relationships with peers in their community.

our space
A Space Designed for Summer
When you're choosing a summer program for the first time, knowing what the space looks like makes a difference. Our Long Branch facility is modern, bright, and designed with active children in mind — not a repurposed classroom, but a space built for the kind of summer your child deserves.
Inside, you'll find dedicated rooms for art, messy play, and group activities, with open-concept areas large enough for team games, performances, and rainy-day adventures. The entire facility is fully air-conditioned, so even on the hottest days, your child stays comfortable.
Outside, a fenced turf play area and shaded yard with mature trees give children room to run, climb, and explore safely. It's the kind of space where summer memories are made — big enough for real adventure, small enough that every child is seen.

Thinking About Year-Round Care?
Summer families get an inside track. By September, your child is already familiar with the staff, the space, and the daily routines — making the transition into the school year that much smoother.
Our before- and after-school program runs year-round with the same educators your child spends the summer with. We're walking distance from local schools, so pickup and drop-off are seamless. Summer families will be the first to hear when September registration opens.
Schools we serve: James S. Bell, Sir Adam Beck, Holy Trinity, Second Street, and 20th Street.

We're located steps from Long Branch's local schools. Our program serves families from James S. Bell, Sir Adam Beck, Holy Trinity, Second Street, and 20th Street. Before- and after-school pickup and drop-off are walking distance.
We ask for a minimum of 4 weeks — but they don't have to be consecutive. Pick any 4 weeks that work for your family. A deposit of $288.75 is due at registration, with the full balance due by May 20. After May 20, shorter enrollments (1–3 weeks) may be available on a space-available basis and must be paid in full at the time of registration.
Yes! You can request to add additional weeks as long as there's space available. Please note that while you can add weeks, you cannot reduce weeks once committed.
Yes, until May 1. You can switch one of your chosen weeks to a different one, as long as you're not reducing your total number of weeks and the new week still has room.
That's completely normal — and honestly, one of the most common questions we hear. Our program is structured around group activities, team games, and creative challenges where children work together throughout the day. This naturally creates opportunities for children to connect with peers in a supportive, supervised environment.
Each week includes a special experience — whether it's a field trip, an interactive workshop, or a live performance. Field trips use TTC public transit to explore the city, and lunch is still included on field trip days.
Yes! A morning snack (breakfast, available until 9:00 AM), hot lunch (catered by Yummies), and afternoon snack are all included in your fees. Children are welcome to bring an extra nut-free snack from home. If you prefer to pack lunch, that's perfectly fine too.
Once registered, cancellations are not accepted — all fees, including the $288.75 deposit, are non-refundable. You can switch your selected weeks to different ones (subject to availability), but the total number of weeks cannot be reduced. Fees are not adjusted for missed days, including illness. The full balance is due by May 20.
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Late pick-up is charged at $1.00 per minute.
Currently enrolled before- and after-school children automatically flow into the September school year — no separate registration needed. New families joining us for the summer will need to re-register for September, but summer is a great way to experience Rec Room first, and summer families will be among the first to hear about September plans.
